Students who will graduate from high school or posses an equivalent certificate  may compete for an Army ROTC four-year scholarship.  These scholarships are awarded through a highly competitive national selection process.  In keeping with high standards of excellence, candidates are selected for scholastic as well as extracurricular accomplishment, and not on the basis of financial need. 

Scholarships are awarded in amounts up to $17,000 annually, and cover college tuition and educational fees.  An additional scholarship benefit is a designated book allowance of $300 per semester.  Each ROTC scholarship winner also receives a tax-free subsistence allowance of $250-$400 per month depending on their class year.
