These use small driverless cars or trains running at very frequent intervals on a (usually) elevated guideway. This list includes systems that offer public service between distinct locations, and excludes "intramural" systems found in airports etc., which are listed in the Intramural Systems section.
The Jacksonville and Newark systems are also listed in the Monorails section because they use that technology.
